Farmers Market Committee:

Committee Openings: 3

The Williston Downtowners Association helped bring the Farmers Market Downtown three years ago. As the market begun to pick up momentum the committee brainstormed ways to get all ages to the market. Over the past few years the organization has added activities, crafts, and live music. Our vision is to continue to create a market that provides shoppers an enjoyable morning downtown. Our goal is to have 15 vendors, 2 food trucks, and creative activities for kids and families. If you would like to help us meet those goals or have another great ideas to expand the market  please e-mail the Downtowners to join this committee.

Art & Wine Walk Committee:

Twice a year the Williston Downtowners Host an Art & Wine Walk. The Art & Wine Walk is awalkable gallery throughout Downtown that gives guests a chance to enjoy and purchase art, connect with the artist, and step inside new businesses. The Art & Wine Walk creates a connection between the stores and shows our community how many wonderful businesses and artists we have in our Downtown community. The committee works together to seek potential applicants and improves the event by reviewing data and communicating with attendees.

The Winter Commitee focuses on Trail of Treats, Small Business Saturday, Black Friday, and the Holiday Stroll. This committee brainstorms ways each of these events can reach new markets to showcase Downtown as a holiday shopping destination. Trail of Treats is a free, community event and the Holiday Stroll is the largest event out of the four. Black Friday and Small Business Saturday are collaborative events with other entities to promote local shopping. If you have great ideas that will bring community together and show off all our unique businesses, join this committee!

Driving Business Downtown:

This committee is focused on linking businesses to promote shopping, eating, and enjoyment downtown. This committee understands the need for small businesses to join together and searches for ways to do this monthly. You do not have to be a business owner to help increase foot traffic downtown.
