Recycling Week Activities

  • Recycling Center 409 1st Street East Williston, ND, 58801 United States (map)

Recycling Center at 409 1st Street East

The purpose of the recycling week events is to raise awareness that recycling is a necessary and valuable tool to pass on to our younger generation. Recycling keeps hundreds of thousands of tons of material out of our local landfill each year. If everybody practiced recycling think of how much more we can keep out, reduce, reuse and recycle!

April 22 (Earth Day!)
11a-1p: kick the week off with free hamburgers and a tour of the ND Recyling Facility!

April 23 10a-2p: Bring your electronics to be recycled! Computers, TVs, batteries, monitors, cell phones, scanners, copiers and faxes. All these items contain heavy metals and other toxic chemicals that should not go in your local landfill!

April 26 9a-4p: stop in and pick up a free 2 cubic ft bag of mulch made from recycled wood, reclaimed from the Williston area.
